MEMBERS CLUB SECURITY

A security guard is responsible for patrolling a building to ensure the safety and protection of both the property and personnel. In the event of a problem related to criminal activity, safety concerns, unauthorized individuals on the premises, or similar disturbances, a security guard addresses the issue or contacts authorities for assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verifying employee identities to prevent unauthorized persons from entering the workplace without guest passes or proper credentials.

  • Conducting security procedures, such as using metal detectors or performing bag checks.

  • Educating staff on proper security procedures and requirements.

  • Performing routine inspections of specific areas.

  • Communicating with local law enforcement about any incidents and ensuring compliance with local and federal security regulations.

  • Preventing criminal activity and detaining suspects involved in theft, vandalism, or other crimes.

  • To fulfill these responsibilities, security guards may also perform several specific tasks, including: - Greeting employees and customers, Checking visitors in and out, Securing assigned posts, Patrolling stores or grounds on foot , Answering and making phone calls and Reporting incidents.
