Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining Order and Security: Patrol hospital premises to deter crime and prevent unauthorized access. Monitor security systems to quickly detect and address suspicious activities. Enforce access control for restricted areas, allowing entry only to authorized individuals.
Responding to Emergencies: Swiftly respond to security incidents and medical emergencies, working in coordination with medical staff. De-escalate violent situations to prioritize safety. - Lead evacuations and manage crowd control during emergencies.
Protecting Hospital Resources: Safeguard medical equipment, medications, and sensitive patient information from theft and damage. Ensure the security of the hospital's physical assets.
Patient and Staff Security: Provide a reassuring presence to enhance the safety of patients, staff, and visitors. Protect healthcare professionals from violence and manage conflicts.
Supporting Hospital Operations: Work collaboratively with hospital personnel to address security issues and ensure smooth operations. Follow strict security protocols.
Other Duties: Screen visitors for potential threats to safety. Offer excellent customer service to visitors. Mediate conflicts between patients and staff. Assist in transferring high-risk patients and manage visitation procedures.
